Today we have the privilege of sharing an early stream of ‘Darkness of God‘ the long anticipated third full-length album from Czech death metal band HEAVING EARTH which releases this Friday, May 27th on Compact Disc and digitally by way of revered extreme metal label Lavadome Productions.

A well-revered name in underground death metal circles since the late 2000’s and their monumental debut LP ‘Diabolic Prophecies‘, Heaving Earth have certainly evolved in the space of a decade and a half yet held fast to their highest standards rooted in the apex of not only ‘old school’ sensibilities but the new found brutality of generations since. With ‘Darkness of God‘ we find the quartet proffering a world class event, one that holds true to their original crossing of next-gen Morbid Angel‘s surrealism and Immolation-esque atmospheric ardor yet transcends past work with some considerable finesse, even breaching the realm of tech-death just enough to provide a lasting and substantial thrill.
