Today we have the privilege of sharing an early premiere stream for Chilean death metal quartet VERBUM‘s debut full-length album ‘Exhortation to the Impure‘ which arrives on Compact Disc and 12″ Vinyl this coming January 14th by way of Iron Bonehead Productions. It is inarguably one of the best extreme metal releases of the month, an album that suits my taste quite well as detailed in a recent review: “Through destructive waves of classicist death-attuned doom metal movement this fine project’s scathingly raw endtyme existentialism presents a coldly violent yet spaciously atmospheric presentation. ‘Exhortation to the Impure’ finds the doors of the most elite skull-rattling death/doom tradition flung open by way of horrifying sigh, a terrifying and seeming endless whorl unto the abysm of the irrationally devotee.“
