Today we have the honor of premiering an early full stream of ‘Celestial Henchwhores Aflame‘ the debut full-length album from Chicago, Illinois-based melodic black/death metal trio BEASTLURKER who’ve sandblasted us with their concoction of classic melodic black/death metal’s tormented ease and their own strident, barreling death metal attack. Think of it as melodic black/death metal from death-entrenched musicians who need big riffs and a certain ‘heavy metal’ glory attached to the personal terror of their craft, modern standards of intricacy and craft but an certain ‘old school’ free-willed aggression unleashed throughout. Anyone who’d written the band off or waived past their 2017 demo ‘Sanguine Elixir of Psychotropic Divination’ now receives this knife-to-the-neck-in-the-night of a debut album, flowing deeply of self-destruction, hallucinogenic insight and the stirring draconic majesty of its rhythms.
